Thank you to everyone who helped to make the 8th Annual More Than Just Desserts Fundraiser hosted by VPC on April 13, 2018 the success it was. The event drew 264 guests at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel and grossed $45,090. Our guests enjoyed entertainment provided by the Philosophers, the delicious food donated by 25 local area restaurants and organizations, raffle drawings, and a wonderful silent auction including 92 silent auction prizes. A special note of appreciation to our monetary sponsors including Empire Comfort Systems who was our Presenting Sponsor, silent auction donors including Hardees for donating their 18 Person Suite, guests that attended the event, Grey Eagle Distributing for their donation of beer for the event, Papa Vito’s in Downtown Belleville and the West End for their donation of wine, Andrew Gray for being our photographer for the event, Print Master in Belleville for donating the printing of our event invitations, Steve Downen of EWR/Farnsworth Group for printing our sponsorship boards, the staff of the Four Points by Sheraton for their excellent service, VPC staff, our More Than Just Desserts Committee members including Katie Haas, Pat Lewis, Annmarie Pickering, and Lindsay Romero, our volunteers including Dan Scally, Karen Scally, Gary Haas, Anavera Malasi, Lauren Joyner, Morgan Joyner, and Dale Vecchio for volunteering their time at the event. The proceeds from our events help support the services provided by VPC to victims of domestic violence and their children.
