The VPC Spring Raffle Drawing was held on May 16, 2018.

Our winners were as follows. 

1st Place Winner  - Jim Lugge – 18 –Person Hardees Deluxe Suite at Busch Stadium  - Donated by -Hardees

2nd Place Winner - Pauline and Jeanne – Michael Kors Handbag  - Donated by  - Michael Kors

3rd Place Winner – Carole Dowling – Kindle E-Reader – Donated by - Pat, Dale and Alexandra Vecchio
 

Thank you to our raffle prize donors, and everyone who purchased or sold VPC Spring Raffle tickets.

The ticket sales from the VPC Spring Raffle generated $1,800 in revenue for VPC.

  • The donors who supported “Give STL Day” on Wednesday May 2, 2018. VPC received a total of $396 in monetary donations to support the services provided to victims of domestic violence and their children.

 

  • Joshua Strausbaugh, Youth Director, and the members of the United Methodist Church Shiloh for their recent support of awarding VPC with a grant of $3000 to purchase new industrial beds, mattresses and pillows for our emergency shelter. Additionally, Mr. Strausbaugh will lead a group of youth to assemble the news beds and paint the bedrooms in the VPC Shelter during UCC’s “Youth Ministry Week of Missions” in June. 

 

  • Pastor John Temple and members of the Faith Family Church in Shiloh for their generous donation of $10,000 to support VPC in its remodeling project of the indoor playroom in our emergency shelter. Additionally, members of Faith Family Church are volunteering to assist with the demolition and construction of the new playroom.

The Randolph County Bar Association for their recent donation of $250 to VPC as a result of their recent fundraiser held to benefit VPC.

  • St. Teresa and St. Luke’s Parishes in Belleville for their recent monetary donation of $700 raised from their Mother’s Day Rose Day Sale held on May 13, 2018. 

  • Steve Urick and Russ DeMoss who organized a fundraiser in their office through the FM Beardsgiving Group and donated $500 to VPC.




     

  • Safeguard, for donating two agency banners to VPC to utilize during our fundraising and awareness events. 

A big THANK YOU to the Saint Clair County Sunset Rotary Club Members for their hard work put forth in building the handicapped ramp and porch to benefit the Violence Prevention Center of Southwestern Illinois
