"I have seen first hand what the Violence Prevention Center of Southern IL has done for families, for children, and for people who had absolutely no other means of leaving an unsafe relationship. I love that they go into our schools and teach kids and teens the red flags of an unsafe relationship and help prevent young adults from getting into a bad situation in the first place. They literally are saving lives and changing the lives for so many people & I can't help but be passionate about that."
